Adam Hultstrand, MDiv, MA

With over two decades of experience as a compassionate therapist, speaker, and leader Adam is committed to offering quality treatment to individuals, couples, and families. He obtained a Master of Divinity degree from Clarks Summit University and a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from LBC | Capital Seminary & Graduate School. Early in his career, Adam worked as a college professor in South Africa and then as the strategic point leader of a multi-ethnic faith community outside of Chicago. 

 

For the past twelve years Adam has enjoyed providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse client population. As Director of Education and Outreach at a large counseling practice, he had the privilege of mentoring other clinicians and offering a variety of trainings and workshops both locally and around the country. Adam is passionate about coaching and equipping leaders; and is open to speaking engagements. As a speaker, Adam often addresses topics specific to men, such as mentoring young men, the challenges of fatherhood, the pursuit of integrity and men living out their full potential.


Adam provides strengths-based, person-centered therapy that is tailored to the individual’s needs, while seeing each person through a systemic lens. He uniquely integrates a variety of relational theories such as Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He is certified as a Family-Based Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania and trained in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy. Adam has experience in addressing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, drug, alcohol and sexual addiction, ADHD, parent-child relational issues and couple/marital conflict. 


To those who know him best, Adam is considered a genuine “Encourager” of people, compassionate, yet direct. Adam loves to come alongside clients in a personal way that infuses hope and helps them move forward with their goals.
